The history of the JOSEPHINE boutique began in 1978, when Tina opened her first shop in Varazze, making herself known as one of the most cutting-edge boutiques for her selection of merchandise.
1998 was a year of renewal for Josephine.
Twenty years after first opening of the shop, Tina's daughter Betty took over the management of the business, and during the same year, the shop in Varazze was renovated by the internationally-renowned interior designer Vincenzo De Cotiis.
In 2010 "to be... JOSEPHINE" was opened in Arenzano.
Even though "to be...JOSEPHINE" shares the same strongly innovative style as the first JOSEPHINE shop, it is distinguished by its street and underground feel.
This coming February 2012 a third shop will join the Josephine family, also in Arenzano, and it will be specifically dedicated to children's clothing.
The online shop is now open on the new JOSEPHINE web site.
With this service the boutique intends to enter the international market even more, making it possible to buy the best items available in these shops from anywhere in the world.
